The Final Advisory Workshop of the Open-Bio project to take place in Brussels

Registration to the final workshop of the Open-Bio project is now open. The Open-Bio is a research project funded by the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. Its objective is to create better opportunities for the market uptake of bio-based products via standards, labelling and procurement.

The final workshop will take place in Brussels on 18 October 2016. Participants will get to know more about the research, the results and the Open-Bio team proposals for future policy and market positioning. The event will particularly focus on standardisation, labelling and product information issues. Participants are also invited to contribute to the inventory of ideas on how to take these issues further along and exploit the results and findings of Open-Bio.

The workshop will be a meeting point for policy makers, stakeholders from the bio-based industry, standardisation experts, and other interested parties. Participation to the event is free of charge.
